In response to the Surfside tragedy, the Community Associations Institute (CAI) compiled working groups to discuss public policy solutions aimed at keeping communities and their buildings safe. Following the development of public policy initiatives, CAI assembled a task force to revise its Reserve Study Standards, accounting for the critical nature of building safety.

Colin Niemeyer, PE, RS, joined Reserve Advisors in 2017 and was recently promoted to a Regional Engineering Manager in the Southeast Region. In this role, Colin will oversee a team of engineers serving the Carolinas.

Jon Walker, RS, a member of the firm’s Northeast regional team, has been promoted to Regional Engineering Manager of the Northeast Region. In his new role, Jon will oversee a team of engineers who specialize in conducting lifecycle valuations and costing analyses for condominium and homeowner associations.

Casey Lewis, RS, joined Reserve Advisors in 2018 and was recently promoted to the Regional Engineering Manager of the West Region. In this role, Casey leads the professional development of the firm’s regional engineering team and oversees quality assurance of reserve study deliverables.

Andrew McGowan, PE, RS, joined Reserve Advisors in 2018 and was recently promoted to the Regional Engineering Manager of the Great Lakes Region. In this role, Andrew will oversee our wonderful team of Great Lakes engineers while continuing to provide clients in the Chicago region with reserve studies.
