Senior Engineer
Nick Johanning is a Senior Engineer at Reserve Advisors and has been with the firm since 2015. He earned his Reserve Specialist (RS) designation from the Community Associations Institute (CAI) in 2017. In this role, Nick equips board members with the tools they need to understand their community’s needs and supports their ability to make informed decisions that enhance day-to-day operations, guide capital planning, and ensure the sustained health and success of their association.
He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Toledo. Since joining the firm, Nick has partnered with more than 850 associations, delivering advisory services that support the long-term physical and financial health of their communities’ common assets. He is also involved in providing energy benchmarking and audit services, contributing to efforts that help communities reduce energy consumption and related expenses.
Nick is actively involved with the Community Associations Institute and is dedicated to advancing the industry through education. He regularly provides training and educational programs for community managers and board members, helping them stay informed on best practices in reserve planning, maintenance strategies, and community operations.
