With over a decade of experience in the reserve study industry, Ian has completed hundreds of reserve studies for communities of all sizes across the US. A finance graduate from James Madison University, he brings a strong analytical foundation to every property, ensuring boards and property managers receive accurate, actionable guidance. Having served on his own HOA board through multiple election cycles, he offers a unique, firsthand understanding of the challenges boards face—balancing long-term planning with homeowner concerns and financial constraints.
Based in Charlotte, NC, Ian lives with his wife and three children. He’s an avid golfer, guitar player and soccer enthusiast and enjoys finding ways to stay active when he’s not diving into helping communities plan for their future. His well-rounded experience—spanning the roles of homeowner, board member, property manager collaborator, and industry vendor—gives him a 360-degree perspective that clients trust and appreciate.
