How is an Insurance Appraisal Conducted?
An experienced professional will conduct a careful on-site inspection of the property and all buildings. During the inspection, we measure, photograph and evaluate all buildings – detailing the size, attributes, installed components and ISO construction class. This process segregates and quantifies construction components, building features and systems to calculate their new replacement cost.
We also:
- Prepare digital photos for each building and key construction component. The photos assist in valuation and are part of the final report.
- Segregate construction components normally excluded from standard insurance policies for each building or structure appraised.
- Deliver a final report with a new replacement cost and supporting details, based on the on-site inspection and valuation.
